The Ruggadocia Series consists of pattern-focused rugs woven from a 60% cotton and 40% acrylic blend yarn, featuring a flat weave structure. With its slim 7 mm construction and weight of 2,800 g/m², it offers a lightweight yet densely woven surface that maintains its shape. The natural fringed edge finish completes its traditional handwoven aesthetic. This model presents a palace-inspired composition with an ogival (pointed-arch) lattice woven from beige branches over a pomegranate-red ground, filled with flowering bud clusters in every opening.
Why a Cotton & Acrylic Blend?
Cotton gives the rug a natural hand feel, a breathable structure, and a matte, elegant surface, while acrylic provides colorfastness, stain resistance, and durability. Hereke is the name of the workshop regarded as the pinnacle of Ottoman palace weaving; the ogival lattice is one of the most refined arrangements in palace textiles, woven with arched almond-shaped openings. In this interpretation, each opening of the lattice is filled with floral clusters; the depth of red and the softness of beige come together in a velvet-like texture. How Do You Clean It?
A vacuum cleaner with low suction is sufficient for daily care; potential stains can be gently removed with a slightly damp (not wet) cloth. Do not soak the rug in water or machine-wash it; when deep cleaning is required, choose a professional rug cleaning service. Take care not to catch the fringes in the vacuum cleaner head.
Due to the product's construction, dyeing, and washing processes, a deviation of +/- 5% in straight and diagonal measurements is considered normal.
Delivery
Once your order has been prepared, it is handed over to Yurtiçi Kargo and delivered to your door within 1-3 business days after it has been shipped. Preparation time varies by product; the estimated delivery date specific to your region is shown on the product page. Every shipment is insured until delivery.

Free for orders of 10,000 TL or more. For orders below this amount, the shipping fee is 999 TL.

Returns
If your rug is not what you expected, you can select “Request a return” under My Account › My Orders within 14 days of delivery. Once your request is approved, your return code will be sent to you via WhatsApp. You do not need to take the rug to a shipping branch — you can call the nearest Yurtiçi Kargo branch and request pickup from your address. Return shipping is covered by us.
Exchanges
If you would like a different size, color, or an entirely different rug, you can select “Request an exchange” within 14 days. Your new rug will be shipped once the returned rug reaches us; shipping is on us. If there is a price difference, a payment link will be sent to you; if your new selection is less expensive, the difference will be refunded to your card. Custom-size rugs cannot be returned or exchanged.
Warranty
All our rugs are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Immediate Action and Contact with Liquids
When liquid is spilled, timing is the most critical factor. Using a clean, slightly damp cloth, remove the liquid from the surface by gently blotting only, never rubbing. Always work in the direction of the rug's pile (the natural direction in which the fibers lie). Rubbing can damage the shape of delicate fibers such as TENCEL™ and viscose. If you are unsure, stop immediately.
Routine Care and Light Balance
For your weekly cleaning routine, always use vacuum cleaners with low suction power. High-powered upright vacuum cleaners and stiff brushes can damage the natural structure of handwoven yarns. To balance the reaction of natural yarns to light and prevent localized tonal differences (fading), we recommend changing the direction of your rug every 2 to 6 months.
The Expert Touch (Professional Cleaning)
Noble textures such as handwoven fibers, TENCEL™, viscose, and New Zealand wool should not come into contact with household chemical cleaners. Such products can irreversibly damage the rug's silky sheen and structural integrity. For deep cleaning, seek assistance only from professional rug care centers specializing in natural fibers.
Washing Instructions
The exquisite pieces in the Carpetdocia collections are not suitable for machine washing due to their construction. (Only our specific models clearly labeled "Washable" may be washed in household machines using a low-temperature, delicate cycle.)
